Behind the Lens

Gerard Walsh is a freelance photographer, videographer, and editor based in Los Angeles, California, with degrees from Art Center College of Design and Cal State University of Northridge.

He recently was commissioned to create and shoot images for Karolyn Kiisel and her book, Advanced Creative Draping published by Laurence King Publishing. Prior to that, he was the Multimedia Director for Patti's Way Charitable Foundation, which provides grants through "Random Acts of Kindness" to children and their single-parent caregivers in need of help.

Gerard also spent a year working with photographer Darren Tieste on the promotional videos for The Beauty Book for Brain Cancer which launched in November of 2011, and is also a 6 time award winning photographer for his work with The Roundup Newspaper.
